Samantha came into
our lives in March 2009. While organizing the class schedule for the 1st
Annual DF Baroque Show, our son Max fell in love with a wonderful 14.2
Welsh/Andalusian mare named Samantha. After riding her a couple of times, he
kept bugging us to buy her. With a total of 20 horses to care for, buying
another horse was the last thing on my husband's and my mind. However, Max
kept insisting to come to Donida Farm with me to ride Sam.

However, there is something to be said about a horse or pony, you can trust
with your children. Needless to say, we broke down and bought her for our then
10 year old son Max. And I must admit, it was one of the best investments we
have ever made. Samantha is absolutely wonderful! She adores Max and they both
have "the need for speed". Under the guidance of the entire Donida Farm Staff,
as well as trainers Gwen Blake and Melody Miller, Max and Sam have started to
thrive. Doing well at the various Dressage Shows, earning the nickname of "Mad
Max" on Samantha (according to S-Judge Janet Brown Foy), the pair also
received the Judge's Choice Award from Judge Larry Brinker at the "Rising
Stars Show" in Chilliwack BC Canada with one word: "Tenacious"! |

Now
as a mother who is a Horse Fanatic, I could not be more pleased! My son is
into horses and I have to thank Samantha (A.K.A. Sammy, the "Little One") to
thank for that! |
